1 - SEO and The Search Engine Marketing
The response pages of major search engines such as Google, for example, are divided into two distinct areas, paid results and organic results.
In the paid results area, those that appear at the beginning and end of Google's answer pages display links from companies that have paid to be among the first links listed when a search engine is searched.
In the area below, in the section of organic results are listed pages, which according to their relevance, are classified in these positions. It is precisely in this area that SEO makes all the difference. To be listed in the top positions, you don't have to pay anything, just be relevant.

2 - What does SEO mean?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Optimization, a set of techniques that aim to place the pages of a website in prominent positions on the response pages of major search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo.
Because good placement in SERPs - Search Engine Response Pages is critical to good exposure on this channel, SEO is considered one of the top search marketing tools.
3 - How Search Engine Optimization Works
Now that you know what SEO is, let's see how it works. As stated earlier SEO brings together a set of techniques, which when applied to a website, make it possible for your pages to be listed at the very beginning of the organic results area of search engine response pages.
These techniques are applied to various dimensions of the site, and should work in an integrated manner to produce the desired exposure in search engines. So that you can better understand how SEO works, let's first get to know the pillars of the website optimization process for search engines.
4 - The pillars of SEO
Let's start our explanation of what SEO is by its pillars, which is the fundamental concepts for a site to be considered by Google as more relevant than others.
The relevance of a site is based on the following points:
- Site Reputation - Technical concept of the site with search engines, such as hosting provider stability and programming structure;
- Site Authority - Relevance of the site and its content within its semantic field in which it is located;
- Site Social - Number of quality links within the same thematic dimension that point to the site.
In our SEO projects I always make it clear that trying to do the optimization work without understanding and considering these pillars is a real waste of time because modern SEO prioritizes these concepts.
5 - The SEO Factors
Given what SEO is in terms of the concepts involved, it's time to address the dimensions of search engine optimization work on a website. This is where we apply a set of rules ranging from structure to content formatting.
We can also divide SEO factors into three levels:
- Technical - A set of techniques that are applied to site structure, ranging from the relationship between sections and pages, to specific technical resources such as sitemaps and others that affect your search engine placement;
- SEO Onpage - Techniques that are basically applied to the site's content and structure, such as keyword choice, friendly URLs, meta tags, emphasis tags, images, and internal and external link structure of each page;
- SEO Offpage - Techniques that are applied to promote digital popularity of the site by creating quality links pointing to the site, thereby enhancing your relationship with other online elements and the relevance of the site.
SEO - Factors
Just as the pillars of SEO must work in an integrated manner, so with regard to SEO factors should be viewed in the same way, as one does not exist without the other.
There is not a single SEO factor that can guarantee good placement on Google response pages. It's no use working one of the dimensions of the search engine optimization process and being negligent in others.
In an SEO project we must align all these details to achieve our goals, always taking into consideration the demands and contributions that other areas of marketing can offer.
6 - What is SEO and its advantages
Having a good SEO strategy is critical within the context of digital marketing. Because a large number of people turn to Google for information, being among the first sites listed on their answer pages is critical, as people rarely extend their search to the second or third page of Google.
In our digital marketing projects we make it clear that both SEO and its importance are made within the context of a digital marketing plan, especially since this is one of the first steps in setting up this planning.
Website optimization for search engines generates more exposure and, in addition, attract highly qualified traffic, generating a higher result as this type of traffic has a much higher conversion potential.
